AQA Level 2 Training

Earn a Level 2 AQA Certificate in Nature Activities for Wellbeing

This training is available to participants taking part in; the Trainee Rangers scheme or our steering group, professionals looking to incorporate nature-based wellness into their work e.g. youth workers or other organisations running traineeships. If you are interested please contact [email protected], to see availability. Please note the training is for participants aged 16+years.

Do you love nature and want to share it with others? Are you interested in youth work or community-focused conservation roles?
At our weekend-long residential training, young people aged 16+ learn how to lead fun, safe outdoor activity sessions and get hands-on practice facilitating them. You’ll also learn a bit about the research linking nature and wellness.

The training is perfect for young people looking to pursue a career in youth work, the environmental sector, or related fields, as conservation charities and social care jobs are increasingly looking to harness the power of nature-based wellbeing. It is also suitable for youth workers and others looking to incorporate nature-based activities for wellness into their work.

What is involved

Participants will earn a Level 2 AQA Certificate in Nature Activities for Wellbeing and be supported by the Young, Wild and Well project staff following the training weekend.

No previous experience is needed to participate in the training–just an interest in bringing nature-based activities to your community or incorporating nature-based wellbeing into your work.
